o_O ...it took me a little over 2 days to fully panel line Armada Overload. I can't even begin to imagine what this took....he's got a much bigger amount of patience than I.

I love the way it looks. It looks like he repainted it too, or is that just a byproduct of a balck wash over the bright blue?
I've already got mine in the works. I'm almost done with the exterior of the planet mode, but I haven't even touched the interior/robot mode. It does take forever, so long that it got so boring I just had to stop. Haven't touched it for a week. I must have spent 4 hours just doing half of the exterior of the planet mode.

    Awesome.

I can't wait to break out my spare Primus and get to painting. So much detail, so little of it utilized as shipped.

Wow.... normally I'm not a fan of panel-lined Transformers (just doesn't seem to fit the aesthetic to me) but I think for a figure of this scale it really works well. It makes him seem, well, planetary.

Ooo. That's really cool looking. I'll have to do that when I eventually get Primus. At some point I'd like to try that with my Unicron as well.

Makes him look, appropriately, very ancient.

Wow, that's one cool pannel-lining job!

As for my Primus, I started to pannel-line it in planet mode. But I only started with the gray planet surface.

I'm using a fine-tipped gray gundam marker for the gray areas.

Based on the pics in the link, he must have used some sort of ink-wash technique to get to those "hard to reach" areas!

I would prefer to use gray so that it won't appear.....overkill.

I always thought about doing this but never could get the time, patience, or steady hand to actually follow through. I tried once but smeared the crap out of Railspike.

What did you use to line it?
