    Ebay:
I don't want the figures in the sets at all, and am trying to figure out if it'd be better for all if I did break it, or kept it all together.

I'm assuming that I'd be selling it for $375 (what I paid for it since I'm not a club member) one way or the other.

So ..... my question now is who on here not attending would want one of the separate/loose figures? I've already gotten some hits about this, so I think I'd like to do it.

    For sale:
    $75 + shipping for Spark - Available
    $75 + shipping for Clench - Available
    $75 + shipping for Breakdown - Available
    $75 + shipping for Streetstar - Available
    $75 + shipping for Sky-Byte - Available

I tend to like the box art, pin and comic, so will probably be keeping that for myself.

Shipping will be US only (sorry to those not in the US) and will be whatever it actually costs to ship out.

Nothing is yet set in stone, I mainly want to gauge interest and see if this would be a better way to go about it instead of selling the whole box. I do not want to sell for dealer credit at the convention, but am also willing to do business at the con itself, if you are attending.

My girlfriend sells hers and usually got around 500+shipping for the boxd set and the atendee figure. Usually the set doesn't last more than a day tops.

Your best bet is to sell the whole thing at once....throw it up on ebay, you'll get more then what you paid for it the sooner you do it after the show.

Like I said in the other BotCon thread. You'd be better off signing up for the cheap club membership to save at least that much on the Primus set, plus have an additional toy to eventually throw to eBay.

Okay, then selling it all at once sounds like a better option. At least I know that one now. Thanks, dudes.

I attended the 2008 botcon with no interest in any of the stuff. Sold everything for a good chuck of change. It helped recoup my expense for the trip.

Hm ... What do they generally pay for it? I'd like to sell it off for as much as I could get for it (wouldn't we all like a few spare bucks to blow?) so that'd be cool.

The YahooJapan auctions are a good place to start, huh?

Thats where the japanese guys sell em as soon as they get em but you have to live in japan or find a deputy company to sell for you, and if you go the deputy company route your gonna pay comission. Id stick to ebay or the dealer room if I was you.

I'm more perplexed by the fact you are paying $375 for the Primus package. Join the club for $40, then only pay $305 for the Primus package. Save $30 plus get a free toy next year that you can sell for even more off the cover price.

I'm gonna do that now that I know the price difference, actually. I didn't think of how much it would save me there.

Thanks for posting this thread. My wife and I have been trying to figure out what to do with her boxed set. Split or sell all at once. Good info here. :thumb

What's a good price to get from one of the dealers at the convention for your boxset?

Not the 1st person I've seen post the same thing... I guess math just doesn't agree with some people

I think the past few years all the the dealers who take exclusives (it's not just the ones from Japan) have had to cut that off pretty early into the show. Quantities of toys have been pretty high the past 2 years, and you can buy as many as you want, so they generally are not going to pay full retail price, at least not in cash.
