Nah..that thing transforms more like G1 Rumble/Frenzy than it does Primus.

I do agree he is basically a gigantic Rock Lord, though..and so is Unicron.

    Planet Lords!

I'm sorry but Primus has no resemblence to that thing at all, the transformation is totally different and they look nothing alike.

Holy crap you're right! Pretty much the transformation is the same. Just folding the robot in half...much like almost every rocklord! :lol

Someone on allspark pointed that Unicron and Primus are giant rocklords. But I don't remember rocklords having lights and missiles and other cool stuff.

I wonder how much it would hurt to be hit by Unicron or Primus if they were thrown at you?

Nope, not seeing it. There are other rock lords that resemble him more closely, but this particular one, no.

I never looked at him that way. But I can see it, he's pretty much an oversized glorified version of Boulder.
    This guy in fact
    http://tfu.info/Gobots/Guardians/Boudler/boulder.htm

Their transformations are pretty much the same as as much as I would like to deny it..
All good here though, I love both Primus and the Rocklords.

The only similarity is the folding in half part and even then its backwards.

Have you also over-looked the hands, arms, shoulders, canons, chest ect.?

    Just have these

Split, yeah, their unfolding legs are pretty much the most similar feature. Why I said glorified . But now everytime I crack open Primus , I can't help but to think about Boulder now. :lol

Gao, what the heck are those? They rule!

Also, you're all wrong. Primus is not akin to a Rock Lord...no, in fact, he's the world's coolest fuckin' Popple. :D

EDIT: Googled for a link for those who don't know what a Popple is...and wow...you really can find anything on the internet. Yikes. http://www.popples.org/
