Is this news? I think it is.

Following a report from Mr Dogworm on TF@TheMoon, I too just found Primus - no Unicron head, US packaging - in my local Smyths (an Irish toy store chain). Hugely unexpected - just about wet myself on the spot. It beggars belief that the big bugger is actualy here so quickly.

Probably getting him on the market in time for the big Christmas push. For the really big stuff, now is the optimum time of year, really. Nobody has money in the last month for big stuff like this, and getting him out now allows plenty of "nag time" from kids to their parents to convince them to buy the big guy as a present.

So i guess Smyths down here have it too.

Note to others in Europe - you may have to wait until they get the European package version out.

Plus there was the Millenium Falcon at the exact same time as the U.S.

I always knew Hasbro UK would have a part to play in the apocalypse.

Including the $35 shipping, importing the head version STILL cost me 5 Euros less than buying the no head version here.

Hasbro UK: The song remains the same.

I was lucky and got my Primus with Unicron Head for £40 including S&H.

I think I've only bought about 3 UK Cybertron releases.

Same here, those being Hardtop, Downshift and that Decepticon lizard bloke. I'm hoping that the little truck (Armorhide?) will get released here, as he's one of the final few that I haven't got yet.

I haven't bought one yet; all my Cybertron was bought in the US, at non-ripoff prices.
