Did anyone else think that Prime's rifle was under-utilized? Man, he better get an upgrade or something, too.

I will never forget the first time I saw Prime actually "unleash" his rifle. Waited the whole movie for P-THUNK! Tang! Then he got launched backwards by Megs's sniper rifle deal. Ol' Prime needs to get something with some more kick-back.

They shoulda just ditched his pellet shooter and had him bust out his sword more.

Both the huge rifle and the badass sword need to be used alot more in the second movie.
The gun looked awesome, too bad he only grazes Megs with it.
The sword? I don't even need to say anything about how cool that thing is.

Just to add - I hope Megatron's upgraded fusion cannon gets a better noise this time around.

Maybe we will have all around better shooting in the second film.

Blackout's weapon at night at the base was really cool, but the rest of the Decepticons felt a bit lacking in the cool factor when it came to their ranged weapons. Iron Hide's could have been okay, but that silly barrel roll as he was firing just stole the cool out of that moment for me. Prime's ranged weapon never really got a time to shine so it's kind of bad that Bumblebee's ranged weapon came across as the most powerful ranged weapon in the first movie.

Fingers crossed for next time, since crossing our fingers is about all we can do.

I think they should have Prime use his rifle more in the second movie.

Yeah, it was kind of disappointing when Prime only used his rifle ones and Megatron evaded his shot (i think i he only strived him a bit). Prime's blade was very cool and some stunning melee action with those blades would be also very cool. but i really wish that Prime and other TFs will use their lasers and missiles more.
It's kinda wack that Bonecrusher and barricade seems to have no range weapons at all.
BTW, Starscream actually fired a lot of his missiles and guns in the 1st movie and he was a serious opponent for the humans and Autobots!
Brawl was a tough opponent too but he was too slow to hit his enemies IMO.

His rifle sounded kind of puny. I wanted the old school blast sound. Prime's rifle is just as iconic as himself to me.
