Who cares about the freakin' flames, the film was a disaster. Without the amazing CGI, this would be the worst film of all time, and YES, I will write a SCRIPT better than this RUBBISH.

By not writing, he HAS done a better script than what Bay and his pals gave us. The movie was special effects ONLY. The storyline was so scattered and fragmented, it was almost like flipping between three shows on TV.
I think the only reason it made so much money was for the Tfans bringing their families to see it 20 times!
And also, the average guy seeing those special effects would have gone to see the movie...and coming out of the cinema, they would and did only comment on the effects, not the shitty story.

Heres the facts: The movie made so much money because it appealed to a very large audience, both fans and non fans alike, and was even a success with the critics. It was a fun, action packed, perfect family summer blockbuster popcorn flick with awesome effects and action sequences. Thats why it made so much money BECAUSE MOST PEOPLE LIKED IT!
sonray, use your head....it got a 50 percent on rotten tomatoes so not most critics liked it. most people went to see it and liked it for the EFFECTS not the STORY. At the end of the day, the film sucked, and many crappy films make loads of cash while great films dont make loads of money.
Yep, shoddy story or not, it was awesome and the only real reason I saw it was for the robots anyway. The humour was an added bonus. Honestly, it's Transformers, how in depth did you expect the story to be?

Quoted for the effing truth! This is what i keep saying to people (although no one can get this simple fact through their thick skulls for some reason). For whatever reason they expected the film to be the next Oscar winning, Shakespeare written masterpiece, when it never was intended to, nor ever will be anything even close to that. Simple fact: Its a movie about giant firkin robots kicking the shit out of each other, and humans get caught in the middle. Hmm...sounds just like an old cartoon that came out in the 80's of the same name.... So i guess that sucked too huh? What are you all doing here then? Honestly, get with the program and get rid of the hypocrisy.
