Aside from being amazing bots the purpose of this thread is not that.

Am I the only one who thinks that the transformation of their legs is THE GREATEST feat of imagination and engineering ever seen in a Transformer?

They managed to finally get rid of the roof of the car hanging off the back of the bot and turned them into full solid legs. I can see this innovation making many furture Transformers into pure wins. Imagine what Bayformers could have been if this technique was around.

p.s. building the minicons is damn fun.

Eh, not really the greatest, but it's up there with the more memorable transformations.

But yeah, I hope they use what they've learned in future figures.

I think you're right! This really is such a great idea, and also, there are not as much leg parts to store in vehicle mode, which makes THAT better too! If Hasbro starts making TFs like these, we'll see a whole lot of great transformers! :D

I want a damn Sea Vehicon (Seacon?) too! Just mold it with some alt mode queues from Energon Mirage (my favorite boatformer).

As for the leg transformation, yeah I was blown away when I first transformed mine. As I was going through the instruction sheet I was thinking "They want me to do WHAT?" Seeing how it turned out is amazing. The fact the Jet Vehicons look great (and more imposing too with the jet kibble) is also a really cool development.

It also blows me away when I realize that Airachnid came from the same line as the Vehicons and Wheeljack.

Yeah I was quite impressed with the transformation process. I remembered when I first got Galaxy Force Fast Aid (Cyb Red Alert) I got the same feeling. That one was pretty smart, too.

A sea Vehicon would be cool and easy enough. Make the wings on he Aircon smaller and add two small turbines to the back. Insta Vehicon sub.

Making more different vehicons would be a great way to troop build without buying multiples of the same figure.

I just now opened and transformed my Jet Vehicon.

I too was impressed at the transformation of the legs. I got all the way to that last step in the transformation and - for a second - didn't think his legs were gonna be able to move (due to the folded up roof and hood)! I was pleasantly surprised that it split and formed normal legs!

Oh, and this Jet Vehicon is my first-ever Takara TF. He's AWESOME! I am extremely impressed with him. I like the packaging, all the inserts, the stickers, the fact you have to assemble the Micron - it just kicks serious ass...and I haven't even put on the stickers or assembled the Micron!
