The Allspark: Transformers News Movie Comics Animated - Rumor: Transformers Prime Toys Coming June 2011?

    "Written by Meister79
    Saturday, 30 April 2011

I just received an e-mail from Hasbro Malaysia soliciting Transformers: Dark of the Moon toys for May and June 2011. Nothing too exciting, but there is a "Deluxe Animation Asst" entry that is intriguing. We know so far that the Transformers Prime toys will mainly be in the Deluxe scale, and no other animation featuring our favorite bots are in the horizon right now. So, does this mean the Transformers Prime toyline will be released in June 2011 in conjunction with the DOTM toys? Treat this as a rumor for now until we get further details."

    "Deluxe animation assortment"?

I hope it's just a preview wave, like that Megatron, Optimus, jack, Raf, Miko battle pack.

Iiiiiinteresting. Not sure what to make of that, but makes sense that Hasbro will try to ride the wave of movie enthusiasm and cross-promote.

Nice catch. I definitely wouldn't mind picking up Starscream and Arcee a few months early.

Seems weird that we've seen everything else on that list packaged and ready to go.

Indeed. That's something that's made me hold back a little. Though these are Malaysian listings, and they tend to get stock a little earlier than the US - so maybe a US release will be mid-late July?

Unless it is a store exclusive preview wave. Might happen, though it wouldn't bode well for the future of the line to start it as an exclusive.

It seams more and more likely that the generations like people think is going to continue will be a small tf prime line, after all they were the next waves in generations anyways

Interesting if true. I wouldn't mind getting Them a bit earlier.

Hasbro's plans changed, and they cut them out of Generations to be put into the TFP line itself. I doubt they would have said Generations was continuing, if it was actually the TFP line starting up in it's place. Though who knows, maybe the reps at Toy Fair were going off of outdated information (like the Walmart listings).

I hope not, I was really hoping for a lot of mixed aesthetic figures to be released with the movie line.

I'd like to quote Beast Wars Megatron here.
    "Yessssssssssss."
But I won't get my hopes up. They said back in January that we'd get the Prime toys in April as a part of Generations.

I'm sure I'm way off with this, but did Malaysia ever get the recent TRU exclusive Animated Deluxes? It just seems odd that they'd release any Prime toys right now, considering the movie toys would probably just stomp all over them, sales-wise. Overshadowed would be putting it lightly
