I wanted to put some Prime toys in my classics display. I think the aesthetic is close enough. I wanted some ideas for who to use them as, though.

Terrorcon Bumblebee-The gallery convinced me to want to get this, so who should this be? I can't think of anyone, though with a head swap and some different stickers, he could become Barricade.

Breakdown-I don't this to be G1 Breakdown, I'll probably use the FansProject one for that, so I don't know.

Hot Shot-He'll be who he is, unless you have any other ideas.

NYCC BB-I don't know why I like this, but I do. He won't be Bumblebee. Would a taxi fit the personality of one of his G1 clones?

I think I'll use Wheeljack, Slipstream, Ironhide, and Steve as who they are.

So, can you help me? If you have ideas for other characters, you can post them here also.

Bulkhead as a stand in for Classics Bulkhead.

What about using Breakdown as G1 Crankcase, the Triggercon? You could also paint him and turn him into the Throttlebot Rollbar.

The only taxi we've ever had is that Mini-Con Overcharge. But he is technically a Classics character, so...

PRiD Ratchet could fit in as himself couldn't he? Especially with a custom paint job.

just curious, but who could these stand in for?

Soundwave- i already have WfC Soundwave in Classics, so, this guy could be used as?

    Starscream

i ask this because i have not really been collecting PRID and what few i have, i want to blend into the Classics display. i may get one or two more in the future, but into the Classics they go.

    Knock-Out makes a good Knock-out.

Hot Shot is a great Skram.

    Ratchet's an okay First Aid.

    Bulkhead's just Bulkhead.

NYCC 'Bee as Overcharge. Or, I suppose Hubcap works okay too, but the repaint of Classics 'Bee that's basically all yellow with black instead of white stripes (or vice versa, as you prefer) makes a nicer 'Cap in my opinion.

NYCC Arcee as G1 Arcee of course.

Nab the Dark Energon Wheeljack, makes a great Slicer.

    Oh, since we crossposted:

Prime Soundwave makes a nice Bomb-Burst. Starscream makes a nice "any jet Micromaster that didn't get a hugeass toy before" filll in.

I use NYCC Arcee as Classic-verse Arcee & NYCC BB as Overcharge but any ideas for Prime Sgt. Kup or Prime Ironhide. That mould has caught my eye and I'm thinking of re-purposing one of them into the Classic-verse.

I use Wheeljack with Generations head as well as GDO Cliffjumper. I also use Steve and plan to use Ironhide and Slipstream as you describe. FE Bulkhead as Bulkhead, too.

Additionally I feel PRID Ratchet is a much better Ratchet update than classics Ratchet is. Even moreso if you get hondasaint14's ratchet head and pop it on there.

As for NYCC BB I'm planning on using mine as Hubcap when my Renderform Hub Scout head comes in. He wasn't a cab, but I couldn't think of any reason why he couldn't be. I've seen people use NYCC bee as Overcharge, too, who was a minicon (I think.. might have been a micromaster) and was a taxi

NYCC Arcee could be classics Arcee, though something would need to be done about her head and excessive spiky bits. I could also see her as Junkion Nancy but again- a head is needed and I don't know of a good one.

I've also modded Bulkhead so the hands fold out more now.

I have friends that use Soundwave as Hellbat. If I didn't already like Henkei Ratchet in Classics, I'd probably use the PRID version.

And I know it's an official Classics toy, but I think the FE body on GDO Cliffjumper fits in pretty well with Classics.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I like your ideas. I'll comment on a few.
Tyripticon, Breakdown as Rumble would be interesting, but we're also getting a red version of the mold, so yeah.
Bulkhead is obvious. Just a quick question, is he getting rereleased?
I think Crankcase and Overcharge are good. Those are likely candidates.
On Rachet and Knock Out, I don't know. Their thighs bother me more than the others.
But yes, PRID Ratchet is arguably better than Classics Ratchet.
Arcee is too tall for me, and I'm not that big a fan of clear plastic.
I don't plan on getting Soundwave, though he looks like he'll fit in well with classics
Prime Ironhide is obviously himself, as his Classics Toy is not that great.
Maverick Hunter Christian, I could see all of your ideas working. They are pretty good.
I think I prefer the FE Bulkhead, and yes, I want GDO Cliffjumper.
Personally, I think Megatron could also be used as himself.
    Thanks guys.

Well everyones collection is their own. For me, I really couldn't see the Prime figures fitting in almost at all.

FE Bulkhead is really the only one that could possibly fit.

They're so close in style that I've decided if I bought them in Classics I'm skipping the Prime version. Unless I think the Prime version looks better. I currently have Prime Cliffjumper and Arcee with my Classics. A few Energon, Cybertron, and Movie figures fit in too. I'm making one "aligned continuity" toy shelf. lol

Ratchet is Ratchet. I'd consider a Deluxe Ironhide as Classics Ironhide... honestly a better fit than the Universe one we got.

    Vehicon is Blackjack.

    Hot Shot is Heinlad.

    That's about it.

    http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Turbofire, I think.

If Prime Ratchet were in Voyager scale... I'd definitely keep him for Ratchet in general. It's a great revamp of his design. For Ironhide, I just picked up iGear's Weapon Specialist... and it truly is a thing of beauty. Only thing that bugs me would be his G1 van alt mode, but maybe it's because the only good thing from the Movie-verse is Ironhide as a big bad mother trucker. *smh*

Bulkhead fits quite nicely with Classics I think... SMOG suggested using the PRID Voyager Ratchet as Hoist, and I think it looks pretty neat.
