    Deluxe and Voyager.

Hasbro have specifically said in the past that they're generally slow to do Ultra class because it's not a significant step up from Voyager.

The Cyberverse are both Legion and Commander IIRC, Ironhide in special was said to be a commander.

I'm cool with (at least in DOTM) non-screen character unique commanders, but otherwise I don't feel the love for em like everyone else seems to. Hope the cyberverse figures are just duplicates and no Prime characters get shafted.

Only Starscream got a mech tech style weapon though, and even then Hasbro said that while the play-pattern is similar to mech-tech it doesn't mean that Mech-Tech will be part of the toyline.

From what I recall, isn't the gun supposed to have lights and sounds? In a voyager class? Or is my brain frying me again?

The gun was shown opened up with a red LED in it.

My guess is they're going for lightup MechTech weapons as Starscream's gimmick.

Leaders have not been mentioned - personally I'd be fine without them.

Cyberverse playsets I think are inevitable in some form, though how exactly might depend on their performance in DOTM.

Leaders would be nice, but aren't necessary. The major 'big guns' can all be properly scaled while staying in the Voyager class. Legends/Cyberverse are always welcome for the lower price-point and the sometimes very interesting takes on given characters.

I agree. I'm sure they'll come eventually, when there's nothing but Prime on the shelves, but I can live without them in all probability. Too big and clunky for my tastes. I'm confident the Voyagers will do nicely. I've heard good things about what was seen at Botcon.

People with better memories than me - is there prior history of things shown privately at Botcon being public by SDCC, or am I getting far too carried away there?

For the most part, yes. At least, the past couple years, this has been the case. Last year, not so much; they saved the big guns for the show they visited in China, for some reason.

Wonder if the fact TFP's not getting Leaders (at least, not at first) has anything to do with the rumor we'll be seeing more leaders than usual for the DOTM line...

I will rip my shirt open by its buttons and lay on the ground kicking and screaming if I don't get a Leader Prime Prime toy.

I'll gladly endorse (read: buy) any leaders provided they match the standards of the TFA leaders.

    I'm not holding my breath.

As long as TFP Leader Megatron doesn't have pee-knees like the TFA one and arm articulation unlike the ROTF one I'm fine.

Seriously, what's with Megatron and having Leader toys that suck? The closest to good is the Cybertron Megatron but he hardly looks like a Megatron.

Prime's current Voyager figure is the only one I really don't care to grab atm... he needs the Leader-class treatment methinks. Megatron seems to be good, but course I could be wrong.

Regardless, if one gets a Leader class, both should.

Course, DotM seems to ignore prior statement amirite? =.
