Heavy/Scratch: Prime Soundwave's Tentacles

    Just a quick bit of tinkering I did for my TF Prime Soundwave:

    The tentacles are hand-sculpted out of green stuff, with a wire core for stability and some posability.

    They plug snugly into the cavities in Soundwave's chest. You have to move Laserbeak's wings out of the way, but IMO that only makes it look like the chest is opening up deploy the tentacles.

    Looks pretty good! Were the tentacles green in the show? Still awesome job though!

    Nah, that's just because I'm too eager to post and not in the mood to paint right now. The putty I used is Kneadatite, aka Green Stuff, hence the color of the tentacles.

    Agreed. Those looked so legit at first that I thought for certain this was just a salvage case. WAY more impressive knowing you did this from scratch. Great symmetry. How long did that take?1

    Sculpting these took about 2-3 hours, not counting the time it needed to cure in between steps.
