Seeing as there has been a annoucment that they will be having Dinobot why could it not be ... Dinobot!! Hes a popular charecter (proved with the hall of fame) He had a awsome personality And all eps devoted to him where great so do you think Beast wars dinobot should come into prime?
I'd would love to see that happen. Perhaps get Scott McNeil to voice him again and it would be great.
Make him Bludgeon (since they're both essentially samurai), since they don't seem to have animal altmodes (even Airrachnid turns into a helicopter, the legs are just for stalking). Start him as a Decepticon warrior - honour bound to show no mercy on the field, but who respects the many autobot dead. Perhaps the ones who impress him the most he etches onto his body somewhere as a tribute. Eventually an autobot saves his life. After much soul searching, he decides that honour is best served by siding with his savour, and testing his mettle against his former comrades. I just don't think they could do Dinobot better than beast wars, and if they can't do it better, they won't do it differently since they need a team switcher. Personally I think it'll be Breakdown, but maybe not permenantly.
Where did you hear this? I haven't heard anything of this nature, the closest thing is that there's going to be a turncoat.
I think someone said at Botcon there was going to be a 'dinobot-type character'. Personally I just think Breakdown's going to have a mid life crisis.
I would prefer not. Dinobot was a great character but entirely determined by his circumstances, such as the moral choice of tampering with the timeline. There's no way the character could be revisited and still be seen as the same character.
maybe, it depends on how he'd be handled. would be neat to put dinobot *and the dinobots* in it. could make them all originally decepticons!
maybe a tiny cameo or in a dream sequence. maybe 5 seconds to 1 minute appearance. a word or two. but no. no more crappy beast wars
christ, I'd rather the franchise have another 'dinobot' again. No matter how many timesI watch beast wars I'll never understand the hype around that character. One of the worst mary sue-ish examples of that character trope. Give me another Rhinox/Tankor if anything.
Don't we have this joke, just with Grimlock? And isn't Dinobot in half the posts in that thread? And isn't that thread right below this one right now? And if Prime does Dinobot...nah, it's just redundant now.
