Is this the new episodes or the repeats of darkness rising?

    It's Darkness rising.

Remember it hasn't aired here yet so it's not repeats in Canada.

They're gonna play Darkness Rising (one episode a week, argh!) but then keep going with new episodes.

    I would hope.

No, he doesn't speak English, if that's what you mean. He has a voice, he just speaks in the beeping tones. It's not a terrible idea by any stretch, it really does make him quite interesting. I think it's fantastic concepts that originated outside of G1/BW are being applied elsewhere.

Movie Bumblebee doesn't speak because he couldn't/doesn't want to, TFPrime BB sounds like that becuase that's just what he talks like.

Anyone notice that Soundwave didn't have his synthesizer effect when he talked? In the US broadcast, he most definitely did when he was playing back Arcee's voice.

Also, noticing that the Canadian broadcast actually had the sound in sync with the video. Almost every recording of the US broadcast I've seen has been out of sync by a half second to a second.

He did, I heard it, I guess it's just harder to hear out of a TV.

The downloads I have are perfectly synced, I think you were just watching badly uploaded versions.

The only times I remember hearing him speak was when he was playing back distorted recordings of other people's words through his mouth.... Unless that wasn't supposed to be Megatron's voice the second time he spoke.

No, Soundwave can't (or hasn't yet) talked in his own voice.

It dissapointed me that they finally get Frank Welker in another Transformers series and he hasn't voice Soundwave yet.

I always liked his Soundwave voice over his Megatrons, oh well, still cool they got him at all.

Anyways I re-watched on Teletoon, It's great to be back in the Transformers watching on TV groove.

Yeah, it is pretty much the Bayformers meets Beast Wars. I was not a fan of the series. Transformers Animated was far superior.

I agree. I liked how Soundwave repeated a lot of the audio but he did not to talk. They got him for Bayformers 2 but didn't synthisize the voice so he just sounded like Dr. Claw

The movies I understand, but I don't see any Beast Wars in the show at all.

Except for the fact that it's not a terrible idea, yes.

    I'm guessing because it's CGI.
