Seeing how Prime and the films are both very similer in terms of designs, tone and characters I was thinking about seeing what people think of both universes with both their strentghs and weaknesses. So I was thinking which one of them do you like more then the other? If you want give both of their pros and cons to help explain why you think this way.

Myself is that while I do enjoy the movies I do give more pints to Prime for having a more carefully thought out characters and storys and not rely on gross humor too often, That and the desgins are more fun in my opinon in Prime.

Spoiling for a fight this morning, are we?

I'll take Prime any day over the nonsensical movieverse.

Prime has better writing and places much greater emphasis on the Transformers and their mythos.

    Prime.

The Decepticons are actual characters that can present a threat instead of the ugly curs that inevitably get destroyed and defaced by Optimus, and Bumblebee isn't nearly as much of a main focal character.

And any Prime Decepticon is more interesting than any on-screen Decepticon the movies can offer. Including Vehicons.

Prime. It may be dull, but it beats Bayformers.

Prime. Slightly annoying writing flaws over weird racism and sexism, mildly porny shots of megan fox and Rosie, weird humor, and the Humans.

Prime. They know how to make Optimus a badass psycho warrior, while also keeping him respectable

    Prime.
All that Bayformers have is Sideswipe and Simmons.
Prime has Ratchet, and Bulkhead, and Starscream, and a somewhat okay Bumblebee, and a Hotshot toy, and Wheeljack, and somewhat color coded Decepticons, and Knockout, and a respectable human foe for the Autobots, and Fowler.

Prime. It has more focus on robots than humans.

I will take both. Both deal with some of the same things but only Prime deals with far more dangerous things that Movieverse does. Prime also has some usefull humans. I much rather have Jack over that sad excuse for a fleshling Sam.

I'm going to have to go with the Bayverse, simply because their Optimus actually has his act together (instead of needing a season finale wakeup call despite being in almost the exact same circumstances), and the fights are more intense and brutal. That, and the guns are actually useful. Oh, and their Optimus actually showed emotion, as opposed to the pompous, boring TFP Optimus.

That said, Prime does have the advantage in side characters, with Ratchet, Starscream, Jack, Dreadwing, Knockout, and Airachnid in her first episode. But you know what? I'd trade all of those guys (I'd miss Jack horribly, though Sam can be almost as good at times) for Bayverse Optimus, Simmons, Dutch, Lennox, and Epps.

I really wish I could say Prime. Movies simply for being consistently entertaining.

There is no contest, at all, for me Prime does every single thing better than the movies except the obvious stuff (Stuff related directly to budget).

Though I like Bay movies much better than the 80's thing (I'll take Skids and Mudflap any day over Junkion retardry.)

And that's the angle I'm coming from; whatever you can say about some of the movies' flaws (and yes, I have no problem acknowledging them, especially with RotF), they are exciting, awesome, and fun.

What Shroobmaster said, there is no contest. Prime is better.
    Prime has:
    -better and more competant Decepticons
    -better characterization of robots
-better humans (admit it, Miko isn't anywhere as annoying as some faces)
    -better story
    -more lore
    -more events
    -better voices
-the perfect Megatron and the perfect Starscream
    -made Arcee actually awesome

Prime has just done everything better.
