I couldn't decide which mold I preferred for Sureshot so I painted them both, as Hollywood would have you believe we Irish say, to be sure, to be sure!!

WIP Hooligan. Slowly getting there. I've decided not to give him the tiger stripes. I prefer this cleaner look.

Crankcase and Spinister are waiting for me to buy Krok and Misfire. It's taken me ages to get Spinister's optics right. Finally feel I did tonight.

Crankcase was one of my earlier childhood Decepticons. MTMTE gave him one of the best lines ever, "Bah!"

At some stage I'd like to repaint the Cybertron Starscream mold as Windsweeper, Whisper and Groundshaker...

That mold sure didn't work as an Optimus, but it absolutely works as an Overload! Good job!

Thanks. I wish it was my idea. Some chap online has done a lot of Photoshop including Overload from Energon Prime and Sureshot from Cybertron Swindle.

So for a while I've been wanting to repaint Chug Trailbreaker as Axer but doing so using G1 Axer's head.

However I've been reluctant to cut the end of his neck as it won't fit on Trailbreaker as is.

Tonight I've been looking at various toys to see if I could do head swaps and get some inspiration for more customs.

I bought this oversized Legend Bumblebee a while back but he's been overshadowed by Titans Bee.

While fiddling with it, I accidentally pressed too hard on the head during transformation and thought I'd broken it off.

Turns out, there was no damage. The part holding the head just slides out. Looking at the groove where it slid in, it occurred to me it might just hold an Actionmaster head in place.

I was right though the raised part on the back stops the heads from turning. Growing up on G1, articulation while nice, is not essential for me.

Above you can see Kick Off, Banzai-tron and Axer. I may have to pick up some more of that no if I can as I like how Banzai-tron looks.

I'm going to paint the body as Axer though I may need another if I can get the head of Axer's yellow repaint Circuit.

Huzzah! Just bought a 2nd os Bee and a 2nd hand Circuit, both reasonably cheap so looks like custom Circuit is on the way too.

Eventually. I'll have to pick up some Starscream molds.

Not really. Some of the toys I had for years. Others I shopped around and got cheap. For example the Skywarps I used to make Acid Storm and Hot Link had gone from €70 to €25.

The oversized Bumblebees are a tenner each. Much as I love Transformers I will look for cheaper options. We all have lives and bills to pay outside the hobby which to be honest is an indulgence at the end of the day.

Seeker drone is very cool. I'm a seeker fan 2. I forgot how many I have. Two more rain makers and a Ramjet completes all of them. U have a seeker wip going on?

Thanks. Acid Storm and the drone are done. Hooligan, Darkwing and Dreadwind are using the Leader Seeker mold and I'm still working on them.

Eventually I'd like to do more Seekers like Sunstorm from Thundercracker, Red Wing from Starscream and maybe a few more drones.

I was kind of flattered today when my 6 year old nephew on given the choice to keep a Transformer from my collection, picked the custom Fracture I painted from Machine Wars Prowl.

Sadly I couldn't let it go but he was well pleased with the oversized Fansproject Dragstrip I had still in the packaging.

As much as I like realism and metallic paint when I can, Needlenose didn't feel right so I redone the silver with a colour called stone grey.

I do think it works better with Triggerhappy's offwhite parts which I left unchanged.

2nd pic is my introduction of Prime Smokescreen into G1/Chug using an oversized ko of legend CW Hot Rod.

Smokescreen was my favourite Autobot from Transformers: Prime.
