Hands-on: Transformers: War for Cybertron -- Joystiq
Let the speculation begin!
I want to think same as the guy there. I loved prestiege mode on COD and wouldn't mind having it in WFC.
It's funny that Joystiq is the least positive preview I've seen of the game.
Interesting read. The writer's kind of biased against the franchise though, and it shows.
I'm still buying it though.
Yeah I ignored those parts. This game will rock.
I could just be a "hardcore" setting.
Pretty interesting read. Did seem kinda biased, though. :/
"War for Cybertron features drop-in/drop-out co-op with support for up to three players, who control all the playable Transformers in a given level"
Didn't agree with this sentance:
On both points being made here, I think the exact opposite is true.
Other than that, I felt he was fair in his review, and the game sounds very promising. The one critique he had, I agreed with. I don't like the idea of strafing sideways in vehicle mode as it is described here. I'd prefer more typical driving dynamics, with level design optimised for getting around in vehicle mode.
While the bias was obvious, he does raise some valid concerns about this game...
Yeah. The vehicle control complaints are a little worrying.
I happy to hear someone bringing up concerns. Hopefully, High Moon Studios is listening and addressing them.
I hope they do what Uncharted 2's team did, put it up on PSNetwork for gamers the world over to get a go at it before release date!
