Man, it's such a shame. The hot shot toy looks good. I like the new head, and the colors, but that RID bumblebee mold... Is shit on a shit sandwich with extra shit on top with an extra serving of shit. Which unfortunately means I'm probably gonna pass on this. :(

I REALLY like this guy! I just wish they would have called him something else and made him a new character.

I really hate that mold. If they had to do a Bumblebee repaint this early on couldn't they have retooled the FE mold?

Since it's supposed to be a new character, I think this mold works much better. All the inaccuracies can be ignored and just assumed to be Hot Shot's characteristics. Overall I like this mold as Hot Shot (and the colours look good too) where it really doesn't work as well for BB.

Really is a damn shame. Despite being a repaint I really like the concept of it all and the new head sculpt is oddly adorkable... But that RID Bumblebee mold... Cripes that RID Bumblebee mold... I wouldn't even mind the rest of the body but that neck just looks so awkward that it kills it for me...

Paint a turd blue and it's still a turd. :(

While this mold is this weakest of the RID I've gotten so far, I don't think it is a bad mold. For me, a bad mold is one that is needlessly difficult to transform, unbalanced, a shell former or falls apart with a glance. This figure is none of those, it's just really simple.

I usually don't get repaints (just unique molds) but I might for this line as long as they are new characters. I really like the Prime characters.

On the bright side, with hotshot and vehicon revealed on facebook, hopefully tomorrow should be something we didn't see from that magazine. I'm hoping for either:
    New Bulkhead
    New Arcee
Airachnid (though not getting my hopes up)
    or any FOC figure.

I was thinking/hoping/praying the visor flips up. Otherwise he looks like Cybertron Scattorshot.

A lot of people seem to not like this mold. Then again, a lot of people don't seem to like RiD Cliff, and I love that toy. Guess I'll make my own opinion of him when I get him :D .

Not really a reveal, tbh. While I really like the head-sculpt, he's an easy pass. Though I would love to see them repaint the Legion Bumblebee mold as him too at some point, maybe in a multi-pack of some kind. Would be even better if they retooled his head to look like this, but I wouldn't really expect that (only retooling I remember seeing done to a Cyberverse scaled figure was to add working hands to some of the older movie Legends).

This must be one of those "for the kids" figures. I wouldn't even want this atrocity for free.

Huh...the goggles look like they might be a separate piece. Perhaps they can flip up like the original Hot Shot.
