I've seen in various people's posts of them finding Wal-Mart's Bumblebee vs. Barricade versus set as well as TRU's Blackout & Scorponok set, but has anyone else found Wal-Mart's "Prime for the Ages" 2 pk?

I remember seeing here in the front page news awhile back, but haven't heard anything about it since or heard of anyone else finding this set yet. Just curious.

I saw the two pack yesterday. The old Prime looks pretty good (some reissue I'm sure of a previous mold) but the movie prime looks a little off to me. I can't quite put my finger on why it bugs me so much.

I passed on it and bought the Bumblebee Barricade set. I need to visit TRU and see about their 2 pack as well. Sounds neat.

More Classic Optimus (the non-movie one) is from the Classics 2-pack. New Optimus is the FAB version.

I just bought it b/c it was Optimus Prime. Probably leave it MISB since I already have that crappy Classics Prime w/ the "tornado punch" and I plan to buy the Cyber Slammer version of Prime too.

If it's the FAB version then that explains it.

Once I saw it, I knew I wouldn't be getting it. One of those crappy Classics Prime was enough, especially since the Prime was just the FAB. If the second Prime was something had never before re-leased in the US, I might have been tempted.

i wish i would have found the BB and barricade set before i bought them seperatly.Kind of defeats the purpose of buying it now. same with the TRU blackout and scorponok one. Ah well, same toys, just a different box.

That really sucks, especially considering they're cheaper in the two packs. My BB/Barricade 2 pack was $16.88. At $9.99 for a single deluxe, the pack is a steal. And the BO/Skorponok for $24.99 is a great dela also.

Plus for the MISB folks, they're already in a neat display case and in a good pose.
