I wonder if the Eradicon figures from TF Prime (assuming there will be a show) will be sold as army builders or in maybe some sort of multi pack (2 to 5, depending on types) or if there will be jet variants

I hope the Eradicon figures are awesome, firstly because I love the design , and secondly because they will no doubt be repainted countless times (and i'll buy them!). Urban eradicon, Arctic eradicon, Jungle eradicon, Umm... Lava eradicon?

I think the most we'd get is a twin pack, or perhaps battle packs with a battle damaged version of cliffjumper/bee/ratchet plus an Eradicon.

They'd probably end up as store exclusives that'll be a bitch to hunt down all the variants of.
    Gotta catch 'em all...

I think they will be single packed deluxe figures. It seems like the deluxe size is the fastest seller Hasbro has and single packs sell faster than multipacks so they would go with the way to make money quickly.

I wonder how many they will have per case? If people end up army building then it might be harder to get hold of them than it would be individual characters.

Assuming the standard scout/deluxe/voyager/leader like the movie lines, I see them being scout class figures so people can army build. Now if Hasbro goes the route like animated with no scout class who knows.

I hope so. Think of it, the first REAL Transformer army builder.

I severely doubt it. Scout class is basically it's own thing now, and Hasbro don't want their only TF armybuilder being dwarfed by bumblebee. I'm thinking deluxe, since their basically cars. Plus the deluxe size will allow the vehicle mode guns to pop out.

Since when has Hasbro cared about scale?

It's not that Hasbro doesn't care about scale, it's just that it's practically impossible given certain characters. They'd rather make good toys first.

Hell, the fact that they have movie characters in multuiple sizes just sows they do care about scale and giving people "options."

I very much doubt we'll get Eradicon multipacks right out of that gate. They will probably just sell a single Eradicon and make it a deluxe.

I'll buy a couple if they are single packed to stand and look awesome.

The vibe I get looking at Prime, is that the line could mostly be achieved with Deluxes. Only Optimus, Megatron and Bulkhead so far strike me as needing bigger toys - and then only Voyagers. The rest of the line could be made in the Deluxe Class and they'd all look pretty good together.

I agree. And that seems likely considering how this is likely going to come in as a secondary line (to begin with) whilst the movie line winds down - and they'll want the larger sizes for the movie toys. Or am I wrong about that? Seems likely enough to me.

I'll buy some if they are made. Expect I'll be placing them with my Vehicons.

I might only buy one of them, but if they sell them in multipacks and use them as sort of a fall-back mold (like ROTF BB), I won't mind buying the multipacks to get them. I'd actually prefer it so I can gather the main cast along with the Eradicons. Also, Cybertronian form Eradicons please?

I'd love to see Multipacks for the Eradicons and shelfwarm.

Now that's a good army builder. If only Tuner Mudflap was meant to be a army buildling charecter.

Also need to let the series play out a little more as well. Who knows if they will do something similar to Beast Machines and give the Eradicons, which so far appear to be just drones, a "leader" type character. Something like Tankor to the tank drones and Thrust to the motorcycle drones. I could be off on the Beast Machine references since it has been a while since I watched that series.

There will no doubt be an Eradicon figure, and I'm currently waffling on whether or not I'm gonna buy a ton of them, or if I'm just gonna get one, give it a cool, unique name, and have it help Lockdown bounty-hunt, or something.

Agree with you. Guess my tone was lost. Trying to echo the comments people always make like, "Hasbro messed up, this figure should be the class" and "Where's my leader X figure" etc.
