I just noticed my mis-transform on the alt-mode, the front section clips more neatly and sleekly into the rest of the body. Also of note, the wings of lazerbeak can be pointed downwards in UAV mode, which makes it a bit more screen accurate.

Nice! I really like this Soundwave. Since we're not getting a good DOTM Soundwave, I will buy this one to be my movie Soundwave...sure it won't look too right...but nor does that DOTM Soundwave.

    This thing looks amazing!

I haven't even seen a single figure from the Prime series here yet in the States though.

Soundwave is a sexy beast! Really hope he gets a Voyager figure released too; the guy deserves it. Make it happen, Hasbro; he's the evil Snake Eyes of the TFPrime franchise. XD Cool review and gratz on getting these awesome toys early, UKers!

Congrats on the purchase, and my God...."it's full of stars"!!

As a side note... this line perhaps more than any other in recent memory (even accounting for TFA which really had me going) has me genuinely and unabashedly excited about collecting again. The hobby is obviously full of ups and downs as to everything there is a season, but this feels like a rebirth of sorts, a rekindling of TF greatness, if you will. Probably seems somewhat hyberbolic to some, but hey, these are my thoughts and I'm sticking to them. DOTM felt like an utter low point, full of lame designs and left out paint apps, but TFPrime is a gorgeous lot and I can't wait to find these figures- Wheeljack, SW, Voyager Megs, etc. at retail.

This design in particular is so g-damn sexy and it translates so incredibly well into figure form. You always worry that the more complex the character design the more cheating will occur, but TFPrime has taken it up a bar or two and possibly set a brand new standard for what is possible in the action figure medium.

So looks like no Leader Class anymore? looks like we are getting smaller figures with cheaper plastic every year.

After that, Soundwave looks pretty good! but too small.

Pretty much all of the above. The DotM line, in my opinion was a bit of a mess, and I was really worrying that we were at the apex of a steep decline in finish quality. One thing I should have pointed out is that the quality of this figure is of a very high standard. No loose joints or sloppy paint apps, and the plastic doesn't feel cheap and nasty. Just a nice figure!

Its not about the quantity, but the quality!

    Quantity? quality?????

No one is talking about "quantity", is talking about S-I-Z-E and actually, yes, quality.

Talk about First Edition Deluxe Sarscream missiles and about cheaper plastic...

By quantity, I'm referring to size, because a bigger figure has a greater mass. Ergo, quantity. IMO, it would be most unwise to pass this figure by simply on the basis of size.

But fear not, there's no floppy rubber plastic here (nor, surprisingly, on wheeljacks swords!).

I think I'm gonna renege on my commitment to a purely Movie toy collection. I'm really on the fence about these.

On one hand the Movie purist in me is more anxious and excited about Movie trilogy and I want to devote my money to buying army fodder.

On the other hand, the main Prime toyline is looking to be very promising and the play value of the Cyberverse line is also very alluring. Soundwave is looking very cool.

As you can see, I'm hopelessly confused.
