Yeah, there's probably still hope. Honestly, deluxe Soundwave's transformation isn't much different from a Legion fig, in terms of complexity.

Anyway, the Cyberverse front is looking pretty bleak around here. I haven't seen so much as a sign of the latest waves. Not even a sign of Commander Dreadwing and Ironhide either. Just lots of BBs, Vehicons, Bulkheads, and some Op's and Megatron's usually. I really want friggin' Flamewar man :/

 

Flamewar is nice and I've just gotten to where I can ignore Vehicons on the shelf.....

 

What do you guys think of the upcoming Fallback figure? Even though he is a repaint of Breakdown, he may be easier to accept in terms of size accuracy vs. character.

 

He reminds me of Movie Bonecrusher.

 

Just spotted Ultra Magnus and Nightwatch OP in my local Tesco, for any UK fans who are on the watch for the Wave 3 Commanders. I'm fairly impressed with Magnus, though he doesn't seem able to hold his hammer properly - the shaft is either too thin or too thick for his hand.

 

Check your Wal-marts people, while I was out my store had the Wheeljack and Knockout sets marked as $13 clearance. Also I found an Ultra Magnus today so yay for me.

I know. He looked so beautiful, even though his cardback was bent to hell. But I just couldn't do it. My search for him has been too long, and I think Skyquake looks cooler.

Yeah, but considering how spotty distribution is right now, you may never see him again and be kicking yourself later on down the road for not grabbing him when you had the chance.

 

I mean, Dreadwing is pretty much a perfect figure. I just can't understand why anyone would pass him up.

 

There's a comic book store near me that has a bunch of Dreadwings (and just about every other Prime Cyberverse/Mainline figure, except the Vehicons, of course), and they have him at the Deluxe pricing (which isn't too bad, considering how much praise he's getting), so I'm not too worried. But yeah, you're right, I'll might end up regretting it.

 

If we have some Cyberverse collectors in Brazil reading this thread: some stores are doing buy one get two promotion on Cyberverse toys. My Vehicon army goes from one to nine toys only this week  . I know the promotion is active in Ri-Happy and probably at PB Kids.

Found Ultra Magnus today! I also saw Nightwatch Prime, but I passed on him. I already have two regular Primes, and I couldn't bring myself to pay $9 just for the swords and the mask-less face.

Haven't opened Magnus yet. Savoring the moment.  

 

Okay... Ultra Magnus is MAGNIFICENT!

He can CARRY LEGIONS in TRUCK MODE! How flipping awesome is that!?

 

Yeah, they're a little on the loose side. Some floor polish should fix that, though.  

 

I'm really not impressed by Wheeljack. I thought I'd love him, but he's not as definitive or innovative as the other Legions. I like Knock Out better than him.

His paint's beautiful, though. The taillights being painted really impresses me, and that teeny Autobot symol is ace.

 

I am envious. All I've found so far is Nightwatch Prime with his new swords and one color difference.
