    Prime Cliffjumper Arm/Leg Swap

EDIT: As per HotWire's suggestion, I have added pics of PRID CJ with FE CJ's arms. The ball joints are a VERY tight fit, but it works. The shoulders are not as posable due to the revealer gimmick, but it still looks cool.

So the loose FE Cliffjumper I got in a trade came in today. And I did what no one else seems to have done yet(but I've been curious and wanted to see how it turned out). I swapped the ball socket joints in the thighs and put the legs of the PRID mold on to the FE. They're slightly different shades of red, but it's not a big enough difference to care about.

I really like it, but I've already switched them back so they retain their transformation. It makes FE CJ MUCH more posable and show accuracy. I recommend doing this if you display your figures in robot mode 24/7

Both combinations look cool, but cause his proportions to be off. I'm going to keep them as is. Hopefully Hasbro makes a figure that has the good points of both figures. I'd rather the robot mode be really accurate and sacrifice the look of vehicle mode(like FE Prime) so since I'll have multiple molds anyways I can keep one in Bot mode and the other in Alt mode.

I did this myself but I haven't gotten around to taking pics. It does feel so much better with the legs not being big boxes.

The FE legs don't exactly fit well on the PRID CJ. The piece with the socket(from PRID) doesn't fit snugly into the thighs of the FE. So it turns out really wobbly. If they were tightened a bit it might make for a cool looking Terrorcon CJ. I may update with pics of that combo later since it took some work to actually remove those ball sockets from the thighs.

Looks good. For anyone doing this to keep in robot mode, remove the car leg sides. There are molded wheels in the thighs, and the figure won't have detail from two back ends.

It looks all right, except he's a bit disproportionate now.

Yeah, the PRID legs are a tad short. If you have him in a dynamic pose it's not as noticeable.

That's what I'm talking about. Hopefully, Hasbro will make a 3rd figure that will look more like this.

I totally didn't think of that. I just did it and it looks pretty neat. I'll upload pics momentarily.

I don't like it. It makes his upper body look too big. I'll take my boxy legs Cliffjumper.
