Orci did confirm Prime living up to his name in this movie in regards to fight scenes. Anyone have any more info on this aside from the 3rd trailer of him slashin cons up? Who were those decepticons and where did that take place?
Here's what I'm assuming the full scene is. Starscream and Blackout appear and double-team Prime. He fights thenm off with his sword, but while he does this, Megatron appears and delivers the iconic kick. Followed by Primeon the floor. Let me tell you, that quick clip where he was fighting both of them off looked very well coreographed and well shot. I hope we see more of those kinds of fights.
NO im tlkn about the fight scene in the 3rd leaked trailer that is supposed to come out tomoro. not the showest scene with Blackout (Grindor) starscream and Megs sent Prime flying through the air. Its a scene, where Prime is spinning around with his arm blade and slashing decepticons. you can see the bootleg on TF Live action blog on the left hand column of topics.
Nice but i see it a lil different. when prime slices blackout it sorta looks like the top half of his body drops to one side as if hes been cut in half (Guess we wont know till we see the HD version) im thinking prime gets kicked by megatron.....prime gets up pulls his blade out and runs up and cuts blackout in half.
i have the trailer downloaded on my computer and yeah it dose look like prime send blackout back to the grave...lol....poor robot his friends come from across the galaxy to bring him back to life only to have optimus prime chop him up and kill him agian. thats just prime.
It does look as if he sliced Blackout in half, but I am pretty sure the other Blackout shot(s) in the same trailer show him in the desert, aka Egypt, which means he survived.
hope so he is too badass to have a missing spark. Alot of those shots in egypt are hard to make out cant wait for HD version tomorrow..............People are even saying scorponoc gets sucked into devs mouth first........i cant see it but at one point you see something dark and mettalic looking go in just before mudflap
There was a closeup shot of his face towards the end (VERY closeup) and the background was the same color as the Egyptian skies. Also I am pretty sure I saw him doing battle in the desert too.
those are definitely the same fight. also, hard to tell at the moment but so far prime doesn't look particularly smashed up when he's slashing blackout and blackout is walking around alive and well after prime has been smashed up, so i doubt he kills him. i assume it goes something like this... starscream cuts sam's car in half sam wishes he had kept his old car, the one with fists and missiles and a big gun starscream kidnaps him, and takes him to deserted warehouse in the countryside sam gets scalpeled prime sneaks into the warehouse to rescue him and attacks, starting by back flipping over that hole in the floor that you can see megatron through this was expected,and starscream and blackout were already hiding in the factory and spring the trap, fight ensues someone gets smashed through a wall and the fight continues outside by the trees prime sends starscream flying and slashes blackout some more fighting megatron kicks prime in the face some more fighting prime punches megatron in the face some more fighting megatron blasts prime sending him flying something happens to save the day
Yeah i was thinking along the same lines too. prime does the big heroic save and gets his ass kicked for it
Maybe when Prime gets kicked and he spits out his Robot teeth and stuff you can see Blackout firin' up his blade thing... So maybe he comes over and Prime does like a cool spin and slices blackout.
When Prime's on the ground at the end of that shot he ain't lookin happy in the least! Potencially Blackout is dumb enough to get to close while Prime's on the ground, he waits then attacks and goes bersek.
