I saw a small, all white version of the robot mode at SDCC from someone who took it at the set, and the final transformation looks how this final transformation does. Completely flat chested and bellied, looks G1 prime all the way.

If this is not official, then I would expect something similar.

Probably fan made (I think I have that truck model on my hard drive) but it looks pretty cool.

Come on guys - you saw the shot of Bumblebee - do you really think Prime's transformation is going to be that simple?

I agree. Not that simple or blocky. Lets remember what was said on Comiccon ,the official graphics won't come out until january or february 07.

Pretty cool, but most likely fan made. That's not a bad thing. A lot of the fan made demos are great and the production team will probably not follow the fans' lead. But we can hope.

On the other hand, all this talk of super elaborate transformations seems a tad overblown, IMHO. Or at least missleading. Hasbro still has to make toys that work and look like the movie characters. And TFs are labeled for 5 year olds and up. Not trying to start a big debate or anything.

I just think in the end, the toys won't be too much more complicated than the Alternators line. And you'd have to think Hasbro will have a say as far as what the characters look like in the end because it's the biggest toy commercial ever made if this all pays off.

    hasbro has a little say

but its already been said, from michael bay himself, they're going on whatever designs he approves.

Bay said that he'll choose the designs, hasbro will have to try to make some toys of those. *wish i could find the interview that said that*

    either way, yeah.

its fake. but still neat i guess

If this is just a test run for a basic transformation, then it could be based on something official. Just add in flipping and rotating parts and some generic wires popping out to show organic styled metal piping, and it could be it.

Also remember, toys need to be developed in a more simple way than the movie transformations, so it could be based on that.

Well, whoever posted the bit about op being huminoid is a flat out liar! All I see is Prime even sweeter than before. but I guess it could be huminoid once they do the final product -_-

I've seen this before. It's a fan's idea of how the movie version of Optimus will transform. It was made by a poster on Super Hero Hype forums.

Very basic concept (smoke stacks clipping etc.), interesting, but unlikely official pre-vis.

if you notice, the guy has done 2 different animations for it.

He designed it based on the style of truck the movie is, yes. But honestly, do you think they would have such a notably detailed truck mode, and such rediculously simplified robot mode? No way.

Use logic, and read. The guy's also from Australia...

I think they meant humanoid as in 'walking upstraight, same proportions as a human, two arms, two legs, and a head'.
