    - This is all about the flatbed cover. The hood and wing paint were done in an earlier mod session -

Not very happy with the final product.

for one the sticker looks like ass, peeled it off an old TF. Going to get some repro- decals and redo that

and I couldint wait for the paint to dry so I did a second coat without letting the first one dry. whatever.

Basicaly I rushed this job and should'nt have. I'm going to redo the whole add-on shortly and do it right. just wanted to show my idea online.

    enjoy! ; )

p.s. add-on doubles as a sheild... little handle in the back. I used one of the alternator packages for the cover.

The blotchy paint almost gives it a "wood-grain rippin" feel, but still no good.

What is it about the end result that you don't like? Looks good to me!

the pics actualy kinda hide the botchyness.

if you were to hold it under the light, you would see the quick job i did.

    but thanks anyways.
I like the mod. just cant get as excited the next time and go so fast.

    the prime alternator box.

the big plastic cover piece. the sides are week but the top is thicker by some milimeters. worked perfectly... but lost a piece of box out of it...

oh well, good thing i have a sealed version~!

Looks good, killer idea that I think you pulkled off well.

I do see the woodgrain look though. Almost looks like those thin layers of wood people substitute for wallpaper in their livingrooms (in the 80's)

A thin piece of styrene with an even coat of spray could look better.
