It seems lately that my Primal Prime has been eye-ing my ceiling fan for quite some time, like a turkey in the rain, upon further investigation the problem appeared to be two main factors:

    1. His knee joints bend back a little bit due to back kibble.

    2. His head won't clamp down properly!

What I mean in #2 is that the white plate that supports his head won't clip down into the gun section. I also beleive the back heavyness is due to his batteries being in, which bothers me since the problem has never been so severe. So what I'm asking is does anyone know how to fix this. Any thoughts are welcome.

Yup, mine is fine too! I'm surprised about the problems mention because I always felt this mould was one of the sturdier ones Hasbro has put out.

Mine stands up fine. Take a closer look at the knee joints, you may have to click the restricter back in place, you can do this by putting preasure on the top of the knee while forcing down on the joint. You should hear a click. If this doesnt work you may have to tighten the screws on the side of his knees.

Good luck man, its an awsome mold having it handicaped would suck.

on the subject of the base-flap for the head, be sure to make sure the front and back halves of the gun section are snapped together as well as possible, since the head is connected to the back one and snaps into the front.

I didn't think about taking out the batteries before since I sometimes have the head issue on my Op Op. But I just tried to open the cover and the screw is stripped. :banghead:

My Op Op and Primal Prime are both fine. I think it just might be age on those guys. It's a joint that takes a lot of wear, and it's not that big compared to what it supports. But Hasbro certainly did build the pair of them to last.

I've located the problem, someone owned prime before me and I have reason to believe he mis-treated him. The stub that clips the head down is worn down into almost non-existence, and thats why it will not clip down (the guy I got this from was retarded when it came to transforming his figures correctly). It is sad really, Primal prime has held up better than any of my other transformers, many of my other Beast wars are scap parts thanks to carelessness, animal issues and poor storage conditions. Thankyou for your help in assisting me in locating the problem!:rock

The restricter works fine, I check it every time I transform him.

    P.S.
Does anyone know how to position the front wheel in tank mode because despite my history of being an excellent transformers transformer, I think I'm doing it wrong.

It's a pain, that bit. Op Op, tank mode, is one of the few TFs who consistently gives me hassle.
