Howdy folks. So PRID Knockout's chest. Official photos are just bad but as expected once it was in hand people found better, likely intended, ways to transform him.

One such was peaugh (whose review is here).

Here is what peaugh and other end up with:

Better than official photos but still doesn't look great. But as I was messing with mine, being a bit more forceful than I probably should have, I discovered another way.

In the review, he tells you to push the center section back into place. Don't do this. Keep it down. It's on a double hing that lets it slide down (or towards the front of what was car mode) just a little.

Then there are some tabs that you can use to softly lock the neck into place. It can be slightly fiddly to do.

Doing this allows the headlight pieces to stay in place MUCH better. The previous way, they would constantly pop out when moving his arms. This way, that doesn't happen any where near as much; though it still does happen every once in a while.

And I think the way it makes the chest look is vastly superior to previous ways, which itself was vastly superior to official photos.

    End result:

That's actually how I ended up doing it first time I transformed him. I figured it must be the correct way, otherwise what would be the point of the hood being able to push out and down?

    Cool job!

Hehe, good to know I wasn't the only one. I just hadn't heard of anyone else doing this so wanted to spread the word as best I could.

Interesting. I'll have to try this later this evening to see which way is the best. Thanks for the photos showing us the important parts. :)

No problem. Just trying to help how I can. It's tricky to take pictures of the stuff to make this work, like the double hinge or the notch under the headlights.

Also I just realized Peaugh does mention this transformation scheme in his review, he just doesn't show it. I wish he would have since this is a lot better in my eyes.

Wow, I had completely forgotten about that picture. Yeah, looks like I rediscovered (for me at least) the official way to transform it.

    I'm sorry? I don't understand.

MisterFanwank did the same thing in a video review he posted a week or so ago.

Either way, it looks like it's the right way to TF KO.

Yeah. I tried it that way in the review, but the shoulder panels didn't lock in. Getting that neck panel situated properly makes ALL the difference.

Yeah getting that neck panel into place can be tricky and easily missed. Hopefully this thread helped you Peaugh.

Oh thank Christ...it's still not perfect but a HELL of a lot better than it was before. I was EXTREMELY disappointed with Knockout until I found this thread. If only the arms could have this easy a fix...

His head seems to sit too low this way though. It seems like the shoulder pieces don't stay tabbed in as well either. I prefer Peaugh's way.
