Some of my PRID figures' joints have become very loose since I bought them. I think it may be a plastic quality issue? Wheeljack's hands are getting tenuous, and Megatron's gun arm officially can't support the weight of the weapon.

Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone have any fixes?

Not me. Try use glue or nail vanish to sure loose joints.

I don't think that it's really the joint, more so the weight of the weapon.

I haven't had any issues with my figures, granted I'm only displaying them for the most part. Use some clear nail polish to strengthen things.

Mine holds fine, so it's not just the weight.

(I should add that I've probably only moved the arm once)

Well, it used to hold the weapon up wonderfully. The joint has worn down.

So far I have only had this problem with Rid Megatrons right arm, and FE Cliffjumpers left arm(though his right is starting to get a little loose as well.
I just popped the arm off applied a coat of superglue to the ball of the joint.
I did not put the arm back on till the glue fully dried, worked well.
Be warned, Megatrons arm was scary tight for a little bit after reassembly, I just moved it carefully, but some light sanding may be needed, hope this helps.

Any joint that supports a load greater than just the appendix it's attached to will loosen up quite fast.

Examples: RID Megatron and his ball-jointed shoulder with the huge cannon, MP Megatron with the big cannon as well, MP Grimlock's shoulders--not the weight of the weapons per se, but the huge honking arm itself.

My Wheeljack has one loose hand, and Cliffjumper and Arcee have tight joints all around.

Go grab a bottle of Future Floor Polish. I think its called Pledge Floor Polish with Future Shine now. Or something similar to that. Its safer, and more effective, than nail polish or super glue.

It's fifty fifty for me. My Prime's joints are tight and sexy... but my megatron's joints are loose like a empty balloon. (Bet you thought I was going to say vagina!)

    THIS.

Guys, Future finish is a godsend for fixing joints. It's dead easy to use, no disassembly and will NOT ruin yuor figure. Buy a single bottle and it will last your lifetime.

Anyway, my joints are all still good and I do play with mine and TF them back and forth pretty regularly, considering I'm not a pre-teen playing with them.

He's right, one bottle really does last ages. I'm still using the bottle I bought about a year ago.

The ball joints on some of my figures are either tight to the point I feel I might snap something, or your standard looseness. The only other issue that I have are the joints, for panel folding that there are stress marks. ie. arcees leg region, where you fold it to form her foot.

My Wheeljack's leg is a kind of floppy, Cliff's arms don't stay pegged in fully.

That's a design flaw IMHO. I love that mold but that one aspect of it does kinda suck.
