I was at my local comic store today and noticed that they had all five of the terrocons loose but in good conditions. I asked the guy and he gave me the price of $35 for Hunn-Gurr and $18 per other bot. In total that would be $104 plus tax for all five of the bots with no weapons or combiner parts. I assume it'd be another 20-40 to track down just the combiner limbs.

So my question is, is $100+ for a loose Terrocon set with no accessories a good price or would I just be getting hosed?

Eh? Imo, that's way too high. I think you can get a complete Abominus for around $100-$125.

If you look around, you can find each bot for around $5.
For $100 without any weapons or combiner parts, that's a bad deal.

yeah WAY overpriced IMO, and by the way the combiner parts often cost more than the bots themselves, so getting head, shield/chest, fists, and feet could easily set you back $5 a piece plus shipping getting them seperate.

I got one missing all small weapons for $75 Cdn.

I've recently gotten some hun-grrrs off ebay (to make combiner combos with leg articulation) for about $9 US including shipping and one with the shield, helmet, and a fist for $12 including shipping.

    Ebay:
I bought a g1 abominus off of ebay last month in very good condition for $73 dollars, with almost all the weapons except one small gun.

If you're paying $104 for a loose Abominus it had better be 100% complete and in damn fine condition.

Getting every combiner is what I'm focusing on right now $100-$125 seems to be the norm for pretty much all the American G1 combiners right now.

Well if ebay is that much cheaper I'll just forget the one I saw in the shop and try to get him there. Only reason I inquired was more of a 'he's all here' convience thing more then a 'zomg want it now' so I'll have no problems shopping around to save some cash while getting a better buy.
