While I was looking through the listing on Amazon.com I noticed a few price increases. Deluxe Cybertron Megatron is now $12.89, Alternator Prime is $26.93, Cybertron Skywarp is $11.50, Cybertron Downshift is $12.13, and Cybertron Smokescreen is $14.29. All of these are Amazon's prices and from just the first 3 or 4 pages I just browsed. What is the deal with the increase and why are they so inconsistent? What are your thoughts on this?

Since breaking off from Toys R Us most of their toy pages are from people listing their own items for sale and they charge whatever they want, so there's some typical online overcharges happening now.

You should have seen when they had Micromaster Constructicons for $20 a pop... Not for one set, $20 EACH. Now that was inconsistent.

That's true but these are not listings from other people but from Amazon.com themselves. Look at this link for Smokescreen. If you add it to the cart it says it is sold by Amazon and "eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping" which is only offered on items sold by Amazon and not one of their partners or someone else selling items.

    Smokescreen:

Huh... well, at least they're starting to put their own toy stock back together. Even if they're using online pricing to put it together with.

The funny thing is that I ordered Megatron for $9.99 on October 13 and now it is $12.89.
