I just picked up a complete G1 Pretender Iguanus from a local store and want to know if i paid too much. Ebay didn't have any any recent completed listings. So does anyone know what he usually runs? Thanks in advance!

    I forget if he's over $50 yet.

Hmm, I got mine off of ebay about a year ago, and it ended at 42.55 before shipping.

    Ebay:
I've been looking for a G1 Iguanus for a couple of months, and not many have appeared on e-Bay... There's one currently available loose with box and instructions, supposedly near mint condition, at a BIN price of $120, which was put on there in December of last year. This one is slightly overpriced, I'd say.
Another loose complete one is available from eBay Europe, for a BIN price of $98, but it's slightly dirty with no instructions or box. Was put on eBay in February of this year. Way overpriced in my opinion.

Disregarding these two extremes, I'd still say Iguanus has indeed passed the $50 mark. Depending on how much you paid for him, it's probably a pretty good find, seeing as how rarely he turns up for sale!

It's funny, the late wave 88 Decepticon Pretenders have appreciated. Are Bugly and Finback getting up there too?

I bought Bugly about the same time, and ended up paying something like $70, it's hard to calculate because it was GBP not $

Really, though, they're just all pretty rare, they don't seem popup on ebay very often at all

Huh? Large pretenders at $50+? I'd have never guessed.
These toys seemed to have been sitting at $20-25 since I started collecting back in the late 90's.
Maybe I need to go dig a few extras out to take to Botcon...
