How much would he cost MISB? Loose?

Also, I've heard somewhere something about the tires being assembled the wrong way.

Also heard somehwere that lots of Alternity (Was it Alternators? Can't remember) have loose doors, joints, parts, etc.

I'm new to Alternity and the Red Alternity Convoy just struck me as beautiful but I keep seeing these ridiculous prices everywhere I go.

Ugh. I can understand $50 or $60 right now, but really...they need to reproduce him in this color again. He's just too rare for the price to come down. I want one bad, but not $100 for a pretty deluxe bad.

I'm kinda wavering on the whole Alternity thing.

They are sweet figures. But their scale is just not doing it for me.

Plus if I were to keep them that means I'll need to pick up Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Starscream, and Skywarp. :(

about looseness. My Megatron has VERY loose anklejoints and my RED Convoy has a loose arm shoulderjoints. Not that you should tinker with them too much, because they're at an awkward position, too far back and too low.

imo, both Alternity Megs and Convoy only look good in their heroic pose, staring into the distance, arms beside their bodies.

Man, I'm caught between a dilemma here...

A fellow board member offered me 100 shipped for a MISB one but after seeing the comment about Takara reproducing the mold in the red color scheme, I'm getting second thoughts...

What do you guys think I should do?

I think Murphy's Law will happen no matter what you do. If you buy it for the inflated secondary market price, they'll pump out a whole batch of them. If you don't, the secondary market price will just creep up. Or at least that's how it's going to go for me!

I was hesitant on the line in the beginning. If I'd known we'd have gotten not just Optimus and Megatron, but Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Starscream, and Skywarp and expect to see more on the horizon, I'd have grabbed them from the beginning. Now that I'm really interested, I have to ask myself if about $400 is worth 6 (really nice) deluxes. Or should I use that $400 to fill definitive holes in my collection. I still had a lot of Alternators and misc. other things that I knew I needed, so I used that money to finish those things off.

But I'm still wanting them and still flip-flopping over whether I want to go with them. I'm sure if I decided to go all out on them, the line would die off. But if I just wait on it, they're will be another batch of awesome in this line that I'll regret not getting into it. It'd be a no brainer if they were 1:24 scale. But where they are about classics sized, I already love the Classics/Henkei molds for all of the bots released except Megatron... and that's my least favorite Alternity figure. Swords are cool but to me, but Megs needs his canon.

I paid around $40 for mine when he first came out. The figure is beautiful, and I really like the red.

With that said, I wouldn't mind getting one to keep MISB if they decide to release it again.

Red Convoy being so ridiculously expensive is retarded. They better re-release it. It the only version of that mold that I want.
