What do these typically go for on the secondary market? Are they sought after? It's a pretty cool figure...

A search didn't shed much light on this question.

    Thanks for any opinions.

Pretty much if you still has him in MISB condition. But things WILL change IF the rumored "Reissue" becomes concrete. :D

He is supposed to be reissued by Hasbro Hong Kong for the Asian market, along with Henkei Cyclonus (please let this be true!) and a few other figures.

    Ebay:
All you have to do is search eBay and see what they usually go for. The three previous versions go for different prices; the Takara version (with the G1-style box) and the Hasbro version with the Unicron head accessory (which wasn't part of later releases) fetch more than the normal Hasbro release, sans Unicron head.

From what I've seen, if a person is lucky, they can catch an auction for the 'normal' Hasbro release for less than $100; otherwise it goess for $100+ MISB; the Hasbro version with the Unicron head can go for close to $200 (though sometimes you have to check with the seller if it is in fact the one with the Unicron head if they use the picture of the Unicron head version but don't spell it out in their eBay listing) and the Takara version can go for $200+.

If the reissue does happen, than it's likely the 'normal' Hasbro release and possibly the Takara release could drop in price (though the Takara version could always be in demand for those who want the box), leaving the Hasbro version with the head as the one that still goes for a premium price (somewhat)...unless the reissue includes the head too (which would be nice, since it is a neat little accessory for those that don't have it).

There was a report a few weeks back of Primus showing up at AJ Wright stores. It was the Primus set that came with a few bonus minicons that clogged Walmart shelves a few years ago. My searches at AJ Wright never found anything but they did have a ton of Transformers stuff before Christmas
