Hey guys, was wondering what an open, complete Universe Starscream is worth? I have someone interested in buying one, but I have no idea as to what to ask for this thing. Sadly it's one of two MIB pieces that got trashed by a friends kids.... Moot point, so what's it worth?! Thanks guys!!

 

Try EBay. It's my understanding that that piece is worth a bit these days. $30-40 maybe?

I thought the Classics version was about $25-30 loose and the Uni 2.0 was about $20...

 

You thought wrong, yo. At least regarding the 2.0 version.

 

Is the 2.0 version going for more than classics now? that'd be a shame, it's about the ugliest deco that mold ever had.

 

When I last did a price check using eBay's completed listings about a month ago, I came up with $45 minus shipping for a MoSC version, and about $35 for a loose/complete piece. I wouldn't imagine the price would have fluctuated that much since then.

While this may (or may not, as I really like it) be, this is probably as close as we're coming to a "G1" Starscream this side of Henkei from an official release. It will probably be quite a while before we see a new mold for "Classics" Seekers as well. Given these two things along with the lack of fans during Universe 2.0 as compared to now creates the demand for this figure.

I bought the Uni 2.0 version last year off Amazon for 27,99 €.

 

2.0 is more g1 accurate thus making him a little more popular than 1.0 ( gray scream ).
30-40 loose is average.

I actually kind of like 2.0 Starscream more than the Classics version. I honestly think the only thing it needs is some extra detailing, because it looked unfinished in certain areas. And I agree with SQ7 that the 2.0 version has more of a toon accurate appeal that the Henkei verison may not meet to some collectors.

I traded mine for a blue ML Soundwave before the price spike. I kind of want a replacement, but I'm holding out for someone willing to sell it for a relatively cheap price.

 

I have one for sale for $30. When I first joined up earlier this year people PM'd me asking anywhere between $35-$50.

 

I agree that this is the blandest deco of this mold BUT it is still the most toon/G1 accurate deco we have for Starscream. Really sort of a win-lose with this deco but what are you going to do.

I am kinda underwhelmed with mine, but I also want a G1 accurate SS. (Now where can I get a good deal on a Generations Thrust, lol.)
