I just posted one for $80 and it sold in like 2 min (and had a ton of dissapointed buyers that were too late). I'm just wondering how much its actually worth if $80 was such a good deal, anyone?

Sold mine for $165 about a week ago. $80 was a steal for that set. I'm not surprised you had so many responses.

What? Someone's havin' a half-price sale on God Neptunes...? ;)

I think I paid $80 to get it from Japan when it first came out.

You did this in the wrong order. You're supposed to ask how much its worth first, then sell it. lol ;)

Its like USD $100 for a loose complete piece, much higher (USD $150 or more) if its MISB.

    What condition was yours? ;)

Edit: Nevermind, I've gotten the answer.

Wow...that was a great deal. The few times I've seen it go for about $150.00

Yeah, I recall him being on the cheap side back when he first came out (over ten years ago), but in the last few years, his price has escalated a LOT.

MISB? When (or if) I decide to get one I'm putting aside about $175 for it (which is a bit sad when you consider I recall him being available for around $60 back in 2000 or so)

It depends on which version of the Takara beastwars 2nd God neptune gift set you were selling.

the takara japanese TF toys are always worth more than the Takara Korean TF toys.

Also with the case with God Neptune. the gift set came in 2 formats. with all the combiners pieces & without all the combiner pieces. Obviously the gift set with all the combiner pieces is worth more money on the secondary market.

I'm not 100% sure. but I think the Takara Japanese version of god neptune had all the combiner accessory pieces. while the Takara Korean gift set of God Neptune had no combiner pieces.

At one point up until a few years ago BBTS.com & toyarena.com were selling the Takara Korean version of God neptune gift set minus the combiner pieces for $40.

It also depends on whether the God neptune set your were selling was factory sealed or opened up. also the box grade comes into play for the secondary value final price.

Wow. I have God Neptune (and the box somewhere) and I got him because it was an easy way to get my old Piranicons back from childhood. Got him for $60 before shipping (which was about $6-8 I think). Mine has the reprolabels on him (with 'Con symbols) but I was always curious what he was worth today. Doubt I'll sell him, but very interesting to see what his price range is.

Wow, I paid $200 for a sealed one earlier this summer; I think another sealed Buy It Now available at the same time was listed for over $200 as well.

I'm hoping for a reissue using all Seacons. We know that the mold is available. God Neptune colors are great.

I wished I saw the price that low. the lowest price I saw was $40 on the bbts.com web site.

I kinda wish I bought it at $40. As I personally like the colors more than the other color variations out there.

I must have spent like USD100 on a loose, yellowing set.

I'm surprised that he still fetches this high of a price despite the Piranacon re-issue going for half his price.

I bought a complete Takara Japan God Neptune in box last June: cost me just under $160. However, when it turned up, it wasn't mint as stated in the description but yellowed (and dusty) due to having been on display. After taking it up with the seller I received 1/3 of the total cost back, making my yellowed in box (and with instructions) God Neptune cost just over $100.
Still, I was so disappointed with him that he's still residing in the box today: I didn't even combine him once. If I have more time I really should see if I can peroxide it...
