Just like the title says. I hate to say it but when I'm back home at Christmas I'm seriously considering selling off my complete RiD collection (minus Scourge and Cryotek).

I never particularly cared for the line as a whole to begin with, but I ended picking everything up due to my completest ways back then. So what would a RiD collection as a whole go for do you guys think? I would definitely split everything up (although if I could find someone to buy the whole thing in one shot I would definitely jump on that too) but I probably would sell chunks of it in lots (Car Bro's etc....) and some individually. Either way I'm looking to sell it all off.

Thoughts? Also what do you guys think would be the more valuable pieces in RiD? And how much would they go for?

Any help breaking down how much it's all worth would be appreciated. Though I have a good idea already I'm interested to see what others think. Thanks

An almost complete rid collection? I'd give you a quarter for it. :)

I'm not a big fan of RID, so I haven't followed prices for it at all, sorry. :)

Most RID figures aren't demanding that high of a price and are still readily available. The whole collection would probably have to sell for under $800, and that would be SEALED.

You're going to be lucky to command $250 for the entire thing. I'd sit on it and hope the value appreciates.

Would take a wild chance and just drop it on ebay for $1,000 buy it now.
Some rich folks are too lazy to hunt them down seperately and will just buy the whole damn thing. If no sell, then drop it too $800 the next go round.
The ebay fees might be a bitch tho

    Ebay:
1000 is too high. With 500, you have some chance.

I hate to say, but I have to agree that you are not going to make a significant amount of cash selling RID toys. You probably won't even get back the retail cost, even if sealed. They were heavily produced and heavily clearanced just a few years back.

I sold a couple of RID toys at Botcon, Prime and UM, loose but 100% complete - I was only asking $15 each and they didn't sell until the last day.... Actually, I'm not sure if the UM even sold....

I'm missing a few, if your looking to sell a few loose ones I may be interested. as for price wise, the only ones that seem to have any value are the exclusives, those are the ones im trying to get and are all I need to complete the line.

I've actually been keeping an eye on RID stuff this week on Ebay. The things aren't even selling for half the retail value.

If you're willing to sell individual pieces, there's a few I'm interested in. ;)

I agree with most of the people here, RID collections don't sell for much. That said Rail Racer (the gestalt with only 3 trains) is my holy grail and sells for quite a bit if they are together/complete. I've seen them for for around a hundred dollars on ebay.

really, Im sure I've seen websites recently that have each Train for around $20 each, but its the RiD version, not Car Robots.

I know what I said is a little too much, but I'd still throw a $1,000 tag on them :lol
Just because In the back of my mind I would be sad to see them go, and part of me would'nt want them being bought, but just in case you get one of those lazy rich people that buy those $ 1ooo ebay lots with no real second thought, then woohoo! And believe me, they're out there.
(tried it with a old Nascar collection, and it worked, I got paid! , plus the buyer was happy happy)

Some rich folks hate to hunt, they want it all and want it all now.
And nothing wrong with shooting for bigger profits

Would rather break it down and piece them out to fellow fans for supacheap. Its a hassle for the long run, but you'll make what you need and feel good for hooking up your buds.

I think there is also a Korean set of JRX for about $50. They are same as Takara ones, I hear. Just different packaging :)
