Looking for a price check on somewhat rare item. It's the japanese STAR base. Look at the pictures to get an idea what's sealed. Never been assembled yet. Let me know what you guys think.

Not sure. It's still sealed. Just trying to get a price quote on this sucker.

it's neat...but remember...it's just cardboard and some stickers and a cool pin...it is going to be worth what someone is willing to pay...i don't think you will find others to compare to to establish a "market value"

but i would say anywhere from $40 to $120

Yeah, i guessed that much as it's just cardboard. And I'm sure there's only a limited amount of people will care for this stuff.

You'd probably be better off keeping it...goes well with a robust G1 collection.
Wasn't there some sort of comparable set released stateside? I remember receiving something once upon a time with folders that had Ultra Magnus, Hot Rod, and a couple contemporary characters. The going rate on that item may give you an idea of a price on the Japanese set. Just a thought.

    Ebay:
I might price it upwards to $200 because of the unused condition. But like others have said, it depends upon the buyer.

I'd be tickled to get this, but I'm looking for the US version (and wouldn't mind a loose one to revisit some memories with the one I had). Too bad it's not still sealed in the mailer.
