I always wanted one.... don't think they'll make a reissue so I decided to pursue one.

So how much for a MIB??
    MISB??

Or should I wait for a reissue??

I think he was one of the G1 guys that apparently has had his mold either lost or damaged beyond repair. I guess it's possible it ended up in one of those KO factories?

Cost for MIB? I would guess around $100 - 200?

I don't have the answer to your first question, but I beleive I've read that the origional mold was either lost, or destroyed.

I have to nab myself a G1 Wheeljack sometime as well. Haven't found one yet for what I consider the right price yet unfortunatly.

Yea, there will probably never be a reissue.

I think loose/complete ones easily go for $75-80 and often $90, sometimes $100. So expect to pay at least $150ish for a boxed one.

Of course, cheaper deals can always be had if you're patient.

When I was completing my G1 collection back in 2001, there were a couple of items that I knew would be almost impossible to find loose in mint condition (particularly Red Alert, Wheeljack, and Prowl).

I really wanted an uber-bright white specimen, so I bought the gold-boxed Classic version of Wheeljack MISB for under $100 and ripped him right out of the package. I'd suggest going with that one since it's not as sought after as the original - if you're planning to have him out of the box, that is.

    loose 75-80 is abt right.

him, sunny, hound and mirage used to range 60 - 90 loose. hounds been reissued since. him and wheljack were the hardest to complete due to accessories and fragile canopy/good sticker condition.

boxed, your best bet starts at 150 :(
