    me?

hell no...mine went straight from box to shelf...just lifted the VTOL panels up once and saw some grinding of plastic...

I did post that if it did get transformed and broke i would swap the pink plastic parts with my metals megatron...

but so far i am fighting and winning the urge to transform him...

I have transformed mine countless times and the only issue is that the joint that swivels the arms out at the shoulders is loose.

But now you all have made me paranoid so I barely touch it now, gee thanks! =P lol

Nice, I love that look. Yeah his damage happens on the shoulders and the waist.

I try to handle him with care because I don't know if that vaccum metal will flake like most of the transmetals that either flake or scratch to hell real easy.

I disagree and think he makes for a great and convincing dragon. Neat gimmicks too. One of my all time favorite toys actually.

Bought mine when it was new and play with him frequently. Same for all my tm's actually. The only vac metal failures i've suffered were tm rattrap (which I eventually cleaned and repainted blue and purple) and bm ultra jetstorm (which I rechromed and painted). Otherwise, the rest have stood the test of time. The few that have suffered minor damage (small chips) are tm rhinox (my fault entirely for being a little rough on him but the damage is actually barely noticable) and the ram of whom had chips from the previous owner. Tm toys are some of my favorites and I really enjoy them. Great engineering and gorgeous looks all around.

Haha, I love the beast mode, actually a lot more than his robot mode (I'd always have him posed as the dragon if I had it). I was just thinking about how he was in Beast Machines & trying to purge his body of all organic elements, such as his beast mode.

Oh god, I was soooo disappointed when I picked up bm megs. Such potential... ruined by a crappy gimmick and terrible joints that didn't lock. Thank god for the rid release of bm megs (scary head thing from hell)!

It has just occured to me that I really need to rewatch bm soon....

Yeah there's one of those 2 packs on Ebay for $165 plus shipping which is an easy pass. BBTS has Metals Primal for $19.99, I just can't understand why Megs is so much more.

I can't believe I sold all of my VS packs a few years back for almost nothing. I had most of them and now thanks to the new Beast Wars DVDs I want them all back.:cry

That's the thing, sure it's at 165 but I doubt it sells. I've been watching them over the past couple of months and sellers are LUCKY to even break 100 on them.

As you mentioned, Metals Convoy isn't worth anything and can be brought for 19.99 at BBTS. Buying the box set and expecting to get more then that for a loose Metals Convoy is nuts.

Still, look into the original BW Megatron!
(Also, the flash changed Metals Megatron's eyes! They are red)

Nah, the TM T-Rex is my favorite version of Megs which is why I'm looking to get one that won't fall apart on me. The Telemocha recolored Robot Masters version is my favorite version of the non Transmetal Megs though, and he's another one that's a little pricey.:lol
