Hey guys, I'm thinking about putting Overlord's 2 powermasters on ebay. i havn't see any, and I don't know what a reasonable "buy it now" price would be. Any help would be appreciated
Eh? Why the huge discrepancy between the two? Seems strange if only one keeps getting lost all the time
I thought I always used to see them both in ebay stores for like 80~, and then real auctions ended around 40, 50~. Simply boils down to supply/demand in the end.
I dunno but that's the prices I see on both eBay & Items For Sale/Trade section. I'll go with blurr69's Demand & Supply piece.
Perhaps due to Mega being a white piece, and therefore harder to find without yellowing? I dunno. Quite frankly, with the exception of Spike from Ft. Max and Scourge's TM, I've always seen all of the heads/PMs/TMs go for about the same price, and I would think that there would be no exception for the Jap exclusives (except for the exclusive heads and Artfire's gun)
i bought one separately in 2008 to complete my Overlord (i don't remember which.) i think the buy it now price was $55 with shipping. -
Mega goes for a bit more because her chrome is notorious for sucking. On average most Japanese exclusive Godmasters go for $50-$80 each. I paid $80 for a beautiful Buster engine to complete my otherwise flawless Buster. Gets confusing when the engine and the transtector have the same name, no? Got pics of your figs? If your Mega is pristine white and flawless chrome you could chuck her for $100 easy. ~Z
thanks for the info guys. both are in nice condition. their arms and legs are a bit loose, but stand on their own and display fine. mega doesn't appear to have any yellowing, and not much chrome wear. i listed them on ebay for $140 buy it now, also OBO. there's 2 pictures in the auction: Transformers G1 Overlord BOTH powermasters Giga Mega - eBay (item 300585684262 end time Aug-13-11 08:21:43 PDT)
