    Hi,

I am offered a G1 Optimus Prime and Thundercracker and don't know what a fair price would be. Let me describe them and you can help me decide on a fair price.

Both are in a played with state with some missing parts.
Prime has both fists, gun, trailer and Roller. No hose, nozlle, pump.
Thundercracker has both fists, both launchers, both tail fins, no missiles, no landing gear.

I was thinking $80 for both. Is that a fair deal?

    thx

Being honest, I think that Prime in that state is worth maybe $30 / $40 and Thundercracker maybe the same. $80 for the two is maybe a bit much - I would think more around $60 / $70. I could be wrong.

ditto. thundercrackers could be found a while ago on clearance at tru for $10. one on ebay shouldn't be too much more than $20, and that prime's probably worth about 40. I'd say $60 max, especially since it's not on ebay.

You lost me. How can it be on clearance at TRU if it hasn't been on the retail market for the last 20 years?!?!

I might be wrong here, but I'm thinking that he's talking about the reissue Thundercracker.

Yes these sillys are thinking about the reissues. To some it seems there is no difference (not saying that's the case for these guys, but why assume he was asking about reissues when he hadn't implied that at all?)

To me reissues aren't truly 'G1'

So an original prime with most parts AND most importantly the trailer is worth $80 on its own easy, if not a fair bit more.

And I saw a G1 complete (no box) thundercracker for $65 Canadian (about $57 US) buy now on ebay the other day, which would mean is value is probably a bit less than that.

Sorry, but G1 Prime in the condition stated and with those accessories is just not worth that much.

Also, even though the G1 reissues are not true G1 they have in most cases pushed the prices of original G1s down.

To me Prime complete isn't worth more than $50, so I would the one you want is probably $40. Thunder cracker is missing his most valuable parts, so unless there is some kind of varition on him, I'd say $30.
