I keep seeing $175-$199 on ebay and never selling, so what is a more realistic price that these could be had for? Want them
I think $130-$150 is a pretty realistic window for them, it just seems no one wants to let them go for that. Saw a couple sets at Botcon around 150, never picked them up, and they were both long gone by the time I considered going back around for them.
i think sellers are lucky to breakeven after the ebay fees, world economy is stagnant if not tanking and people just aren't willing to spend 2x cost on toys right now. the darksyde megatron that was going near $1k just couple years ago sold for less than $500 couple days ago (no cyber key), i was very tempted but still didn't even put in a bid.
I sold some sharkticons last year for about 135 after having paid a member to pick them up for me. Even with paying them a pick up fee, ebay & paypal fees, i still came out ahead. Ebay has a lot of sellers and they are not going to sell on ebay if theres no money to be made.
Last year's Sharkticons were a lot more reasonable at $59+FL tax. This year's autotroopers were $89+CA tax. Something about paint apps. . .
150? for 3? hmm i think i will just wait until christmas, where i can buy them for 8 dollars each *the original paint* at biglots...
i got a MISBag set off a fellow board member last spring for $125 .... have a set opened already of the three pack...ended up trading the MISbag set off for some SG thundercracker and SG galvatron TF's.. i would say $140 at the most is what you might get someone to pay if you advertised free shipping on the ebay listing. i agree with the above post about the economic factors in play...people that have $$ to spend right now are NOT willing to pay the prices that stuff was going for in 2007/2008....stuff started to drop drastically in price (value) in the last 2 years...while the economy sucks monkey ballls shit will continue to decline in value...once the economy goes back in a positive direction...stuff will start to appreciate in value. so hold onto your treasured and valued TF's now unless you are willing to take fire sale prices for them.

i am using energon sharkticons as "stealth shark units" and the botcon sharkticons as the personal guard shark units of sky-bite and the universe overbite (hellscream repaints) that i have as the super duper armored sharkticon units...will take pictures once they are setup.
