I was just wondering, how much I could get for selling a complete AA Optimus Primal out of box?

They tend to go for $20 - $30 from what I've seen depending on various factors.

I'll be in the market for one in a few weeks. Just letting you know.

AAOP prices are very odd. There was a boom in them outside the US a little while after he was released; I remember going to Auto Assembly in the UK a few years back and seeing the only one on sale there priced at £100 (damn near $200). And I believe it sold too. It's subsided now though, but he still doesn't seem to pop up on eBay that often.

I would've said about $40 is right, but the price does fluctuate a little.

Sealed ones do tend to go for a lot more than loose ones.

I think $30's the absolute bottom end of the price range. At least that's mostly what I've seen on ebay.

Hmmm, not sure where you guys are getting your price ranges from.

I do agree that his price fluctuates a lot and that he's worth significantly more sealed than open. I've been looking to pick up a sealed one off and on for a while now and he's gone upwards of $80-90 on ebay (and not just one or two auctions but a good fraction of them) with a low end of $50ish. Loose generally around $30ish.

He definitely goes for less on boards though. He's just rarely seen sold. Seems he fluctuates a lot like Primal Prime and Cryotek.

I totally regret passing on it when it was at retail. One of these days I'm sure I'll get it, but right now it's not too high on my priority list.

When they were on clearance, I posted here saying "Hey, anybody want one of these? They're only twenty bucks Canadian."

No takers. In hindsight, should have extras anyway.

And I just saw TWO loose ones at value village for three bucks. I only bought one.

I also passed on one of these when they were at retail and I completely regret it. Every time I've bid on one on eBay, they've ended up going for around $50-60 and those were just the loose ones.

I got mine for about $35 including shipping on ebay last year, and that included a fairly good condition but accessory-less G1 Grimlock.

But I admit I probably got lucky with that one.
