Optimus Prime As Both Statesman & Soldier

Cool to hear that we're getting a pre-war story running parallel to the present day stuff in the first arc.

 

More pre-war stories. Always a welcome addition.

 

That's very interesting.

It will be interesting to see Optimus, a true-blue war hero, walk the tricky path of diplomacy and compromise.

 

So is Optimus Prime replacing the current Transformers (formerly Robots in Disguise)  comic or is it a separate new series? 

 

Yeah, it's the replacement/relaunch. OP is to ex-RID what Lost Light is to MTMTE.

 

I'm even more interested in the book than before.

Thats a diff style of art. The right knee and the left hand. Hmm diff but cool.

 

So does anyone know if we will have to re-subscribe under the new name, or whether it will transfer over on Comixology automatically? I have no experience with relaunches/renamings on the platform.

 

I really hope this is good. Not sure about the cover style, but has potential.

 

Kei Zama also did these covers, and has a load more art on her tumblr. The art's one of the primary things I'm hyped for.
