My first thoughts: Lord Chumley and Prime Target done in the RotF style.

Though I couldn't resist a "give me your face" joke either.

 

It was alright, but only 8 pages of comic now. If i wasn't so lazy I'd cancel my subsciption. Still I can't see it lasting much longer so it won't cost me too much more to see it out.

 

I got given it today as a gift from a relative.

 

I can't be bothered with this comic anymore. It started off good but all it is now is ads and competitions. My subscription won't be getting renewed next month.

 

Got my copy in the post today. This reminded me so much of the Lord Chumley G1 ep. Quite laughable really how 'Tyler White' thought just tying a giant robot to a pipe with a shackle would feasibly hold him. Oh well, it's a kid's story. But i did like the cover (not so much the line "Prime Snaps", uh). And it seems this story has a new writer for once: Robin Etherington. I thought the first page's writing style was something different from the usual Furman work. It's nice to have different writers sometimes imo.

I actually don't mind Titan cutting down on alot of the 'uninteresting' pages in the last 2 issues. I'd rather they do that then give us more kiddy puzzles. Now if they could just get rid of the crappy gifts...

 

The Titan comics Transformers magazin exclusive comic content aren't collected into trades right?

I mean besides 'saga of the allspark' and two 2 pocket sized books that includes the 'saga of the allspark' issues and the what if scenario if Decepticons won in the first movie.

I would prefer collected works but otherwise I guess buying single issues on ebay will have to suffice.

I got really excited when I read bounty hunter thinking it would be an appearance for Lockdown. I am disappointed now.

 

Well your introduction certainly got my attention. And hey, at least Michael Bay didn't direct it.

Something I liked was how this story let Optimus Prime have a sense of humour.

Optimus - I could have escaped at any time I wanted. I just decided to wait until it would be funny

And add another +5 to his "faces taken" score.

 

We do seem to forget sometimes that Optimus can have a sense of humour.

Good point, Sol. So how many faces in total is that now?
