    Well. It looks REALLY GOOD.

Unless some Constructicon balloons were misattributed, I don't see any problems.

And Budiansky's done a good job with the first 5 pages.

I dunno, seems like a waste of Don's talent. I would prefer he was working on something new personally, but I also know a lot of people dig this so whatever, its just my opinion.

    Frontpaged that for you :)
It looks pretty good, the comic is a blast to read. 24 is coming up as well, my brother will be happy about that.

I'd be curious to know how much "bonus" stuff is actually added to this new adaptation. I mean, did they only make a point to draw in movie MIA's like Snarl & Bombshell and maybe some other random bots, or are there a few actual new scenes as well...

From what I've seen so far, which hasn't been a lot, it seems to be a frame for frame adaptation only with some changed/incorrect dialogue in spots. Kind of makes it redundant now that the movie has already been re-released for a week or two.

Major props to the artwork, it's WAY above the artwork in the 1st movie adapation by Marvel 20 yrs ago

But ugh, seeing a fully formed Devestator inside Astrotrain didn't make sense in the movie. And it doesn't make sense in printed form. :lol

I know Astrontrain tends to be big in shuttle mode, but damn he must have high ceiling space :D

Didn't like the first issue, and this doesn't look promising either. Waste of both Don AND Bob.

Guido would have suited the "cartoon" style better. Too bad he's not one of the fastest artists.

Magnus looks seriously puffy on page 1. Almost every line is directly lifted from the movie itself. Not even the "weight" line has been changed. Every line that's not directly lifted from the movie (i.e. the captions) stands out pretty prominently thanks to Bob's tendency to over-explain everything, in a Chris Claremont way.

    Nosir. I don't like it.

Looking forward to Spotlight: Hot Rod. Hope Nick Roche keeps up the quality of the Shockwave issue.

I like this, for the cover alone it's worth it for me. And maybe DON will clarify exactly who became Cyclonus and Scourge.

Unless IDW was told to put in the bonus bits. It won't be in there.

I really don't know why anyone would want more than what was already there but I digress.

Possibly because buying a new adaptation comic that is nothing but a frame for frame recreation of the movie is a little redundant since... well... we all could just watch the movie. Nothing wrong with wanting some gap-fillers to help make the comic version a little more worth while.

I just wish Don drew the "near death" 'bots more.... messed up looking.

They could have been much more "gory" with this one. Especially Prime on his deathbead. Make in look fatally wounded man!
