They need to give us some names on those unnamed background Autobots (aside from Arcee)...I think one of them was supposed to be Gears

    The Bumblebee art is sweet.

Although one can kinda tell Don's taking his cues from the toys in part for drawing these suckers.

Too many splash pages! Too fast a read!
I know it's a problem with comics in general these days, but a few more panels per page wouldn't go amiss.

Because it's the manga version. Manga's in black and white, for the most part. Usually because it's cheaper that way. I dont understand why anyone would buy a black and white version when they can get the nice, full color one, but it's a stylistic thing.

I don't understand the Black and White thing either.
I would buy some of them if they were in color.

The robots in these comics look good. The humans do not.

Cool preview. Quick question: are these being shipped or not? Because so far no comic store is taking orders. At least for Buenos Aires, and that sucks.

The manga versions are also manga-sized, which means that they can fit in your pocket, which no big-ass American TPBs can unless you've got parachute pants with very big pockets.

Also, in Japan manga is often released either weekly or bi-weekly (sometimes monthly), but to make up for the fact that they're in b&w, they also release about 16-20 pages a week, which is better than our measly 32 pages a month.

It's a trade-off: color for quantity. Some people don't like that, and it has nothing to do with the IDW manga styles. I personally love the size of manga, but often prefer Josh's awesome coloring. Much more atmospheric that way.
