i am loving the way this movie is turning out. there are now three distinct tranformers universes, g1 wich includes beast wars and machines, armada with energon and so on, and now the movie universe wich stands out on its own as a totaly seperate continuity. im a happy man this month.

And I'm hearing millions of comic wallets screaming bloody murder. I am LOVING the movie adaptations.

Except that why couldn't they have an IDW COVER FOR THE PREQUEL AND MOVIE TPB?! Nothing against the designs of Megs and Optimus, but it doesn't seem to make much sense in the graphic novel realm.

it was the only way that the books would be allowed to be sold in the book stores and some toy stores was for it to have the cgi covers. the book store chain wanted it to have the real looking bots on the cover, not artist interpretations of the movie characters.

Hmmm.... IDW's rendition of Megan Fox is also hot. :p

I think I'll skip the single issues for the adaptation in favor of the TPB. Should be easier to find when I travel to the US in a month, and I guess it's also a bit cheaper.

Anyone knows if the individual covers are in the TPB as extras?

Think I'll be avoiding the comic adaptation, at least until I've actually seen the film.
