    RUMBLE IN LA RAMBLA PROLOGUE

    Publisher:
    Image Comics
    Writer: Felipe Ferreira
    Interior Artist: Rafael Albuquerque
    Cover Artist: Rafael Albuquerque

    "Rumble in La Rambla" was created as Rafael and Felipe were looking for a cool subject to create their first all original franchise. After considering subjects as varied as going from terror to humor, they stick to the simplest and coolest idea that came to their minds: to create a series that would be based solely on two statements:

    - It would have to be situated in a fictious south California city called La Rambla. This place is the most corrupt and violent city in the USA and its history, since from the beginning, is based on senseless bloodshed and major showdowns;

    - The second principle is derived from the first: every story arc, regardless of characters or time period involved, is punctuated at the very end with a massive shoot out in the best Spaghetti Western style.

    Having set the rules, they went to write the story, featured in the synopsis below, "A 3 Bosses Tale". It is an arc that deals with the imprisionment that is to have nothing in one's mind than revenge, comprised in 3 issues. The artwork was so colorful and the story so bleak that the fusion was called "Tropical Noir"
