BLADE OF THE IMMORTAL VOLUME 16: SHORTCUT TP

    Publisher:
    Dark Horse Comics
    By: Hiroaki Samura

As Rin frets over her bodyguard Manji's disappearance, she is surprised by the arrival of two traveling warriors, the feisty, headstrong Döa Yoshino and her huge, brutish companion, Isaku Yasono-ökami. Rin quickly regrets her decision to let this strange couple stay with her, but her detective work takes priority when she returns to the stronghold of Habaki Kagamura to search for Manji. Meanwhile, Kagimura's medical examiners begin to test the seemingly immortal Manji, who is imprisoned, chained, and a very unwilling toy in their merciless hands!

Hiroaki Samura's acclaimed Blade of the Immortal has won awards across the globe, including the Eisner Award in America and the prestigious Media Arts Award of Japan. Intense and audacious, Blade takes period samurai action and deftly combines it with a modernist street idiom to create a style and mood like no other work of graphic fiction.

"THE WAR OF THE UNDEAD", Part 1 of 3
You saw the 7-page prelude in November. Now, the three-part War begins in earnest, courtesy of monster sympathizers Bryan Johnson and Walter Flanagan, the twisted team who let Karney loose on an unsuspecting public. In East Germany in 1945, Hitler has committed suicide and the war is over, but a secret cabal of Nazis have an insane plan to resurrect Hitler's soul from Hell and place it in an earthly vessel. The ultimate goal? A planet lorded over by the unstoppable force of an immortal Hitler backed by an endless army of reanimated SS soldiers. To do this, the Nazis will have to gather the earth's greatest monsters: Dracula, the werewolf and Frankenstein's monster! World War II might soon be over... but THE WAR OF THE UNDEAD is just beginning.
